In the frame of Short-Term Individual Travel Grants Competition 4 Georgian scientists were financed for January and February planned events. Our scientists participate in international scientific conferences and forums in Monte Carlo, Sietl, Petch and Zeneva. 

The Short-term Individual travel Grants Competition facilitates the exchange of scientific information in the sphere of science and technology between scientific communities of Georgia and foreign countries through participation in international programs and conferences.

The main purpose of the Short-term Individual travel Grants program is to activate the scientific potential of Georgia scientists, to attract young scientists and contribute to the holding of leading positions in science.

Competition program provides much needed financial support to Georgian Scientists to participate in international scientific events and for them to keep current in their respective fields of research and work.

The Travel Grants Competition is funded by the State Budget. The total budget of the mentioned competition is 12 003 GEL. The administration of the competition is led by the Georgia National Science Foundation.

The program first time was established in 2006 and administered by the GNSF. 226 scientists received grants to participate in scientific forums in more than 52 countries worldwide.
