According to the Science Board decision Georgia National Science Foundation will announce the first conference grants call this year. The main objective of the call is to support conducting the local and international scientific conferences, congresses, forums, symposiums and workshops, exchanging information and sharing experience as well as popularization of research outcomes of Georgian scientists.

In the frame of science popularization programme a new call - “participation of secondary school students in research” will also be announced. This is pilot project and aims to reveal those pupils who are interested in scientific career. It is also intended to support the development of student’s scientific skills, to increase their motivation to be involved in research as well as to increase the young researchers’ interest to participate in the school process.
